Yes, its that time of year again so mark your calenders for September 9th, 2012!

The Yoga Aid World Challenge is held in cities all over the world to raise money for various yoga charities across the globe. Yoga Gangsters is honored to be selected once again as one of this year’s US charities. On September 9, 2012, over 500 yogis will unite to raise money for Yoga Gangsters at the Yoga Aid World Challenge South Florida which will take place at the 6th Floor of the uber-cool Lincoln Road Parking Garage at 1111 Lincoln Road Miami Beach, FL 33139. Doors open at 9 a.m. The 108 Sun Salutations will begin at 10:30 a.m. to be followed by a final relaxation at noon.  Yoga Studios, Food/Drink and Apparel vendors will be present for fun community networking until 2:30 p.m.

Event admission is $25 at the door or raise $108 and get in FREE!

During last year’s South Florida Yoga Aid Challenge, our community teamed up to raise more than $40,000 for YOGA GANGSTERS! Since then, the organization has shared the gift of yoga with over 1,200 children, teens and young adults! View more programing highlights here.

To participate, you may either donate directly to one of our fundraiser’s pages or else register as a Challenger to begin collecting donations from your friends and family! And don’t forget there will be plenty of prizes for the top fundraisers and fundraising teams so please stay tuned for more details.
